چکیده
ABSTRACTIntroduction Caries initiation is associated with demineralization of the toothenamel surface. Calcium and phosphorous are lost from subsurface enamel, resultingin formation a lesion. Aim: this study aimed to investigate comparethe enamel surface ultramorphology minerals content by Environmental ScanningElectron Microscope (ESEM) Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX) toassess micro-hardness (Vickers test) demineralized treated CPPACPcasein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Phosphate Flouride(MI Paste Plus)or SDF ( FAgamine). Materials methods: This was conducted on twentyeight human premolars ,were collected outpatient clinic MaxillofacialDepartment, Faculty Dentistry, Suez Canal University. The selected premolarsdistributed into three groups: Group I: consisted 7 intact sound premolars,(controlgroup) II : premolars,(demineralized group) while,Group III 14 each one divided 28 halves mesiodistally)then all specimens group were half them treatedby MI plus subgroup IIIa) other SDF( IIIb). AllGroups I,III IIIa showed highest value followed IIIb & Iand finally least related .The fluoride contentrelated IIIb. There not statistically significant difference betweenmicrohardness values I while revealed lowestmicrohardness value. Conclusion: Both CPP-ACPF show areas mineralizeddeposits improvement ultrastructure. Also both areefficient remineralizing agent, but more efficient as agentthan SDF. shows better microhardness results than

Comparison Study on Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate Paste and Fluoride Gel on Remineralization of Demineralized Enamel Lesions
Objective: Tooth surface undergoes continuous remineralization and demineralization. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of Caseinphosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste and Fluoride gel on the microhardness of demineralized enamel lesions. Methods: Frothy eight specimens of premolar teeth were chosen and randomly divided to 4 groups of 12. After the initial m...
